Widely acknowledged as the most experienced Commercial Sales and Leasing Agent currently operating the Canberra Property Market, Greg has been involved in property for his entire working career and has recently celebrated 40 years in the property industry. 37 years of that time has been spent working on commercial properties in Canberra and the surrounding region.
Greg is very highly regarded and widely respected for his expert knowledge and strategic understanding of the workings of the Canberra Property Market in particular the workings of both the Commonwealth and the ACT Governments and their influence and involvement in the property market.
He has an outstanding track record of major sales and leasing transactions over the last 30+ years and has sold and leased many of Canberra’s major office buildings including 121 Marcus Clarke St City (Section 68), Industry House City, RG Casey Building Barton, Edmund Barton Building Barton, 1 and 3-5 National Circuit Barton and the AGSO (Geoscience) Building Symonston.
He has also managed major divestment sales programs for the Commonwealth and ACT Governments including the Commonwealth of Australia Property Portfolio Packages 1-6 and numerous commercial land sales across the ACT. He also handled the Portfolio Sale of 9 commercial properties for one of Canberra’s well known property families and the Portfolio Sale of 3 office buildings for another very well-known Canberra property group.
Greg is extremely client focused and known for his attention to detail and for doing everything he professionally can to do to service his client’s needs. He is diligent, very hard working and a real team player when working with others in the industry.
Throughout his property career Greg has tried to give back to the industry that he loves by volunteering his time and efforts to several property industry associations in particular the Property Council of Australia where he has held every Executive position on the ACT Division Council including President. His 30+ year involvement & service with the Property Council of Australia was recently rewarded with Honorary Life Membership of the ACT Division
Outside of work, Greg likes to live a healthy lifestyle by exercising regularly and eating well. He is a very keen touch football player and despite his age is still very competitive with his usually much younger opponents. He has represented the ACT at a national level in the 45,50, 55-year age groups. He is also slowly trying to improve his golf handicap on the beautiful Royal Canberra Golf Course
Greg is a passionate family man who loves spending time with his two daughters and three young granddaughters whenever he can. He also loves spending time with his partner Phillipa and good friends especially with some good food and wine.
